Full day exploring Fes el-Bali (largest car-free urban area in the world). Visit the tanneries, Bou Inania Madrasa, University of Al Quaraouiyine (oldest university), and the Nejjarine Museum of Wood Arts. Watch craftsmen working with metal, wood, and leather.

Drive to Merzouga (7 hours) through the Middle Atlas mountains with cedar forests. Arrive at the Sahara Desert. Switch to 4x4 to your desert camp. Evening camel trek to watch sunset over the dunes. Berber drumming around the campfire.

Early morning camel trek to watch sunrise. Breakfast at camp. Drive back to Marrakech (9 hours) via the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Stop at Dades Valley and Roses Valley. Overnight in Marrakech.

Free morning for final shopping at the souks or visit a hammam (traditional bathhouse). Transfer to Marrakech Menara Airport for departure.
